One more underwater clean up took place in the fishing port of Aegiali in the island of the Small Cyclades, Amorgos.
Taking part in the coastal clean ups organised every year by the mediterranean network MEDSOS, Mystic Blue and the local diving centre Amorgos Scuba Diving put all their efforts in releasing the port from the burden of all the garbage that have been lying at its bottom for years.
The eight divers that participated brought out more than 20 car tires, lots of plastics and a radio (!) among other things. Our job isn't finished yet... if you wish to participate in the next underwater clean up please contact us at info@mystic-blue.org |
